Leadership in Gifted and High Ability Learners (90 Minutes)

Gifted and high ability learners often have a deep inbuilt motivation to use their abilities for good within society. As educators we want to promote this responsibility and leadership. Gifted and high ability learners will often be the passionate creatives, problem solvers and critical thinkers of the world. When nurtured these students have the potential to bring about critical medical breakthroughs, solutions to engineering problems, creative approaches to environmental care, and technological advancement. Come and find out how Robert Sternberg’s ACCEL Model and leadership in gifted and high ability learners can support development of positive characteristics.
